Robert Fendall Osteopath

Robert Fendall, DO, MOST.SC (Paediatrics), stands as a prominent figure in the osteopathic field, bringing 40 years of clinical experience to his practice.

Robert has successfully established and operated multiple clinics across Sydney. His clinical expertise is complemented by a dedication to the Australian osteopathic community, where he has participated in multiple administrative boards shaping the future of the profession.

Robert's esteemed positions as the Inaugural Chair of the Osteopathy Board of Australia and as a past president of the NSW Osteopath Registration Board underscore his unwavering commitment to the advancement of the osteopathic profession. Robert also served as president of the Australian Osteopathic Association and in 2015 was honored as an Honorary Life Member by Osteopathy Australia, a prestigious acknowledgment of his enduring impact and legacy.

In his practice, Robert is attentive to the unique stories of his patients, integrating his extensive knowledge into personalised treatment plans. He has a profound respect for the principles of osteopathy and applies them to facilitate the body’s natural healing process.

At the heart of his practice is a philosophy that views health as a balance of physical, emotional, and environmental well-being, something he strives to achieve for each patient he has the joy of treating.

As a father of three, he brings empathy and understanding to his work with pediatric patients. Over his career, Robert has had the privileged to observe a multi-generational practice, watching his pediatric patients grow up and often become parents themselves, while the 'original' parents mature, helping the young grow older and the old grow younger.

His personal interests, including cycling, rowing, snow sports, and sailing inform his approach to treating sports-related injuries and enhancing athletic performance. Robert understands multi-sports competition at national and international levels and the importance of what it means to keep learning new skills as the body ages.
